Urban art in movement

This piece of Brazilian graffiti captured Jaime Hernandez’s attention while she was studying abroad in São Paulo. Hernandez says, “As a final project of my course, I presented the case of Afro-Brazilian ballerinas and focused on this graffiti that shows the empowerment of them through destroying stereotypes that black girls cannot be classic dancers.”
