Horses and the people of the plains of Inner Mongolia have shared a symbiotic relationship for centuries. On a trip to a village in Inner Mongolia, I was inspired to snap a picture of this animal with whom the people of Mongolia share such a sacred bond as we were waiting to watch a demonstration of traditional Mongolian wrestling. The modernized yurts in the background, as well as the wide, cloud-filled skies of the plains gave me a perfect opportunity to capture, in a photo, the essence of the village I experienced in Inner Mongolia.
