Tadhana

The picture was taken by Kathleen Guytingo, student in Asian Studies during her internship in Philippines. She describes the scene:
“Standing on this cliff overlooking the sun rise above the valley, rice terraces, villages, and rolling Cordillera mountains, I felt “tadhana” (meaning fate or destiny) as I contemplated how much incredible potential and opportunity the future has for the Philippines and my own personal journey. Then, as this couple moved into view. I could feel “tadhana” galvanizing every atom of their being as they came together to enjoy the sunrise.”
