Paris’ vintage pedal carousel

“This is my favorite photo from my experience in Paris, which shows my classmates (and professor!) on a nearly unique vintage carousel in Paris’ carnival museum. There’s only two of these in the world, and what makes it unique is that it is totally human-powered. It’s made of bicycles that are pedaled by the riders! This was a tough photo to take because we got the carousel going pretty fast, and I was practically falling off trying to get the settings just right. Luckily I got this one perfect photo out of about 50 I took.”
