Macaron love

This photo was so fun to take. My family hosted a French exchange student this past year, and she told us of the marvelous macarons from Laduree in Paris. When we found they had a store in Harrods, we travelled across London on the tube to go get some! I took this photo because my family knew I couldn’t take them back with me, so I had to give them evidence of my visit. I ended up going to the Paris one as well, and they were spectacular. The delicate crust and creamy cloud-like center of the macaron is something that I crave everyday and dream of at night. This is one of the best foodie experiences I have ever had.
