“When exploring the Summer Palace in Beijing, my friends and I came across a little girl in a dress writing traditional Chinese calligraphy with water on the sidewalk. Later we realized that her dad was actually using this method to help her improve her handwriting. Our project required us to use creative techniques such as this to teach the young students, so seeing this girl really inspired me to think of new methods of teaching.”
