Edge of a lake
Pokhara,
Nepal
The picture was taken by Matt Gaidica, PhD Candidate in Neuroscience Graduate Program (Michigan Medicine) when he was in Annapurna base camp in Nepal studying brain at high altitudes.
He described this photo: “The day rests in Pokhara along the eastern edge of Phewa Lake. Annapurna South is visible just over the hills of Methlang. Here we meet an Indian family and make quick friends with Yash, Vaibhav, and Shweta. By flight or bus, we go back to Kathmandu in the morning.”
