Bridge of sorrow

The photo was taken at Paju, South Korea by Jamie Forgacs who is finishing his undergraduate work in International Studies. He said:

“Imjingak is an area just south of the border between the two Koreas. The Freedom Bridge was used by POWs returning to South Korea after the the armistice, but the war continues to this day. Separated Koreans who have family north of the border visit this spot to pay their respects.”
