Will StoryBlog: U-M doctoral student explores delivery care options in rural Bangladesh

University of Michigan international health policy student Will Story spent most June in Bangladesh, working with the International Center for Diarrheal Disease Research on a 20-day field study. Story explored the childbirth experiences of Bangladeshi women – the barriers they meet in finding delivery care and the creative solutions they’ve found to overcome those challenges. He interviewed parents in rural northern Bangladesh as part of a qualitative research project funded by the U-M Center for Global Health and posted updates every few days day to an interactive blog that allows visitors to follow his journey from point to point on a world map.
