Exploring U-M’s Opportunities Around the World

International Student Admissions

The University of Michigan has a long tradition of welcoming international students to our campus in Ann Arbor.  Our first international students joined the U-M in 1847 and our international enrollment has grown to almost 7,000.  The University of Michigan ranks among the top 12 U.S. institutions for international student enrollment (Institute of International Education, 2014).  Our international students represent over 100 countries and bring valuable cultural and intellectual diversity to our community.
