In 2013-14, Fulbright grants were awarded to 32 students and seven faculty members at U-M. Only one other institution – Harvard – received more Fulbrights than U-M, which has led the nation six times in the last decade.
U-M ranked No. 16th in the nation in the total number of students studying abroad, with 1,946 students overseas in 2011.
